KILN DRIED BIRCH HARDWOOD LOGS

"THE QUICK STARTER"

Birch kiln dried logs burn really well and light very quickly generating heat output almost immediately. They are a great choice for starting a fire, along with our premium kind dried kindling.

Birch generates a very good heat output with bright lively flames and generates heat quicker than other comparable firewoods. Whilst it doesn’t last quite as long as Oak, Beech or Hornbeam its ideal for situations where a fast intense heat is needed.

All of our firewood is kiln dried and Woodsure approved Ready to Burn. 

·         External moisture content: 6-11%.

·         Internal moisture content in a centre of the log below 10%.

·         Log length 10 inch. (250mm ±10mm)

·         Sustainably sourced through a sustainable forestry program.

·         Clean burning with minimal smoke and less ash to clean up.

·         Reduced risk of chimney fires or flue damage with less creosote when burning our kiln dried logs.
